Orthodontic Treatments

Invisalign

Invisalign is a clear alternative to braces. Using a series of clear, custom-formed aligners, the treatment gradually re-aligns your teeth to their correct position. The aligners are very light-weight, virtually invisible, comfortable to wear and easy to remove.

Incognito Braces

Incognito braces are an advanced generation of braces which are attached to the rear (lingual side) of the teeth. They are discreet and hidden from view, which is a great benefit and often a preference compared to more visible traditional braces. The individual fixtures are moulded to shape of each tooth, providing a more comfortable experience.

Braces

Dental braces are wire-based devices used to align and straighten over-crowded and misaligned teeth. The goal of braces is to properly align the teeth and jaws to produce an even bite, whilst also working to improve dental health.

There are many variations on the market, and fortunately in recent year’s dental braces have become much more comfortable, and less intrusive to wear.

Sleep Apnoea

A sleeping condition which affects around 1 in 20 Australians, aged 25-60. During sleep, the tongue relaxes to the rear of the mouth, blocking the airway and causing lack of airflow and sudden waking. It often occurs right throughout the night, causing snoring and greatly deteriorating the quality of sleep. Untreated, it can lead to severe fatigue, high blood pressure and heart conditions.

Child Orthopaedic

Child Orthopaedic treatment plays a vital role in childhood development. Early evaluation is crucial to assist in correcting growth and jaw development, preventing the need for more serious orthodontic treatment in future.

Propel Pro5

Propel Pro5 is a device used in conjunction with braces or Invisalign.

It is a painless, simple-to-use appliance which generates micro-pulses to intricately accelerate tooth movement, and with only 20 minutes of active daily use, it reduces treatment time by up to 50%.

Complex Treatment

Some cases are more severe than others and a more complex treatment plan is required. The Orthodontists at Lifestyle Orthodontics are well skilled in these areas and don’t shy away from these more complicated needs.
